Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, the downloadable Wild West shooter from Techland, will be available May 22 on Windows PC and PlayStation Network for $14.99, and on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), publisher Ubisoft announced today.
Those who pre-order the PC version will receive immediate access to a copy of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the second (and best-received) entry in the Call of Juarez franchise to date. Uplay pre-order customers will also get exclusive content in the form of a pack of legendary weapons.
Gunslinger centers on bounty hunter Silas Greaves, a man on a mission to hunt down notorious Wild West outlaw Roscoe "Rustling Bob" Bryant. It offers a more arcadey first-person shooter experience than the previous Call of Juarez titles, with a stylized look and a scoring system. The shooter also features many renowned figures from Wild West lore, including Billy the Kid and Jesse James, in a tale that mixes the legends of the Wild West with the era's actual history.
