Rayman Legends' online challenge mode will launch as a free app through the Wii U's eShop April 25, Ubisoft announced via press release.
Ubisoft announced the app in February as a mea culpa to fans for the game's delay. The app will include four daily and weekly multiplayer challenges for up to five players, and each challenge will include its own leaderboard. A demo of the mode was released earlier this month.
Previously a Wii U exclusive, Rayman Legends is currently slated to launch for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well in September.
