CryEngine's softer, shinier side explored in Enodo's real-time demo

French firm Enodo has released a tech demo running on Crytek's CryEngine 3 showcasing a wide range of environments and architecture from the savannah to the showroom rendered in real time.

Enodo, which says it designs "virtual realities for real life business applications," does not seem to be interested in making games, but rather in using gaming technology to simulate real spaces. Enodo says it "[levels up its] client's business ... [showing] that the mechanisms governing the world of video games are powerful and will revolutionize the way to understand urban or industrial projects, their development, and their communication."

Its 2012 demo reel featuring a single large city was similarly eye-catching.
