Disney released a video today discussing the mindset and thoughts behind the development of the upcoming Disney Infinity.
According to the developers, play is something that all children do, after all, and the idea for Disney Infinity's free-form build-a-game Toy Box came from playing in the real world with their own kids. Playing without rules and creating your own stories is an integral part of childhood, and the purpose of Toy Box is to enable the young and young at heart to do that sort of thing with some of Disney's iconic characters.
Disney Infinity will hit all major platforms including handhelds this August.
