Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now stream television shows from the CW network with the new CW app, Major Nelson announced via his blog.
Users do not need a special account, besides their Gold membership, and will have access to shows such as Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries and Beauty & the Beast. The app will also include interactive content, including extra information such as character biographies, maps and more.
Those who download the app will also be able to enter in a Facebook giveaway to win a custom Vampire Diaries or Supernatural console.
The CW app is the latest in Microsoft's ever-growing list of Xbox 360 applications. Entertainment apps for TV network Telemundo and anime platform Neon Alley launched in February. A Pizza Hut app was unveiled yesterday that allows users to order pizza directly through their system.
