Sony to release metallic gray PS3 DualShock 3 controller in North America

Sony will release a new metallic gray DualShock 3 wireless PlayStation 3 controller in North America, according to a picture tweeted earlier today on the official PlayStation account.

A price has not yet been announced. A limited edition metallic gray controller was announced in Japan earlier this month for 5,500 yen ($59) and will be available June 20.

Update: A representative from Sony told Polygon that the controller "will be available the first week of June for $54.99."
