A promotional poster for Battlefield 4, emblazoned with the logo for retail chain EB Games, reveals the Oct. 31 release date for the EA shooter, in addition to a number of features available in-game and the name of its first DLC pack.
The promotional material, obtained by BF4Central and shown below, offers the following details about the upcoming title:
- Armchair general: Rank up into the seat of the brand new Commander mode and lead your team to victory.
- Battlelog 2.0: The next version of the state of the art gaming portal. Track every shot, every opponent, every detail of your online Battlefield career.
- Go Premium: Stand out on the battlefield with exclusive uniforms, weapons, and more. Get exclusive expansions, starting with Drone Strike (TBA).
- Thrill Ride: Thrilling singleplayer campaign takes you all over the world as part of an elite squad of soldiers.
Battlefield 4 was first announced by developer EA DICE last July. The shooter will use the studio's Frostbite 2 engine and will release on next-generation consoles. EA DICE said that a multiplayer beta for the game would be released in fall 2013.
