A new video out for ACE Team's indie first-person brawler Zeno Clash 2 shows some of the new additions to the game's combat, and explores the city of Halstedom.
Protagonist Ghat starts the video by getting into a bar fight, and while Zeno Clash 2 allows you to call allies in to help you out, the player opts not to. Zeno Clash 2 adds some new options and attacks when countering an enemy's blow, for instance, as well as a reverse kick to deal with foes flanking you from behind. Enemies can also now be "juggled" in midair like in a fighting game.
After the fight, Ghat explores the city of Halstedom, giving viewers a glimpse at the advancement tools and sidequests to be featured in Zeno Clash 2 — for instance, capturing colored moths so a painter can make pigment.
The art, environment and characters appear to be just as surreal and fantastic as in the first game. Zeno Clash 2 is out on Steam, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 30.
