PlayStation web store adds download queues for automatic downloading to PS3 and Vita

The web-based version of Sony's PlayStation Store now lets users add games and other content to a download queue from a PC, then automatically download that content the next time they turn on their PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita.

While the online store's download queue will not wake up a powered-down PS3, users can use the feature in conjunction with a PlayStation Plus account for nightly automatic software downloads.

The download queue on the Sony Entertainment Network online store allows users to download Cross Play-enabled titles to both platforms and download PSP titles to their Vita. Titles added through the SEN web store will appear in users' download list, making it more convenient to download software.

Currently, download queue functionality from the web-based PlayStation Store is limited, as users cannot filter or sort titles easily.
