Ubisoft announced today The Watch, a new promotional hub for its upcoming entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
Those who pre-order Black Flag will receive exclusive access to The Watch, an online hub that offers users news and information about the game, in addition to upcoming events, releases from the studio and fan art.
The Watch will also allow users to demonstrate their knowledge of the series by solving puzzles, quizzes and taking part in assassination contracts, all of which reward the player with new browser-based "Missions."
In addition to its desktop version, The Watch can be accessed through tablets and smartphones.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is expected to launch Oct. 29 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Wii U and Windows PC, as well as next-gen consoles.
