Hellraid announced for 360, PS3 and PC from Dead Island developer

Hellraid, a first-person hack-and-slash game from Dead Island and Call of Juarez developer Techland, is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC, according to a press release from the developer.

Hellraid's story takes place after the armies of Hell invade the world of man, and a "select few" fight back against the devilish enemies. The game will include a single-player campaign as well as cooperative multiplayer in which players destroy enemies while competing against each other. Players will also be able to gather loot, craft weapons and armor, compete on leaderboards and more.

Techland revealed the game last August as Project Hell, when it was in development for PC. Hellraid is set for release sometime in 2013. You can check out the first screenshots above.
