Acquire's dungeon-crawler role-playing game Class of Heroes 2, set to launch later this month for PlayStation Portable, is now available for pre-order, publisher Gaijinworks announced today.
For $36.99, buyers will get a physical UMD disc as well as a voucher for a digital copy of the title and a game manual. The company expects "complete fufillment" of physical copies and digital vouchers four to eight weeks after pre-orders close on May 8. Pre-orders are available through Amazon, with all physical goods shipping to the buyer's address on file with the company. Voucher codes will also be sent to the e-mail address tied to users' Amazon accounts.
Class of Heroes 2 originally launched in Japan in 2009. That same year its predecessor, Class of Heroes, launched in North America for PlayStation Portable. Last spring a Kickstarter campaign for a Class of Heroes 2 deluxe physical edition failed to meet its funding goal, but shorty after the digital edition entered production due to fan encouragement.
Gaijinworks founder Victor Ireland confirmed with Joystiq that Class of Heroes 2 is still in quality assurance testing, but is expected to be available on the PlayStation Network the "third week in May."
