The Realm heads to Steam Greenlight

The Realm, Atomhawk Design and Lantern Intearactive's point-and-click Kickstarter title, is now collecting votes on Steam Greenlight, according to the latest campaign update.

The post also includes a video interview with composer Richard Jacques, best known for his work on Mass Effect and a number of Sega titles, who will also work on The Realm's soundtrack. You can watch the video above to hear about Jacques' background, inspiration and more.

The Realm launched April 22 with a goal of £195,000 and more than £39,000 has been raised with the help of 1,800 backers. The game is set in a distant future where nature has overrun the world's cities. Players explore the world as a young girl named Sarina and a stone golem named Toru.

The Realm's campaign will end May 22. If it reaches its funding goal, the game will be available for Windows PC, Mac and Linux. Previously, the game's creators walked backers through the development process.
