The second downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Uprising, hits Xbox 360 first on April 16, adding four new multiplayer maps and the Zombies adventure "Mob of the Dead."
Black Ops 2 game design director David Vonderhaar calls Uprising "the most fan-centric DLC package we've ever created." The map pack will include four new multiplayer arenas: Magma, Encore, Vertigo and Studio, a re-imagining of the classic map Firing Range set in a Hollywood backlot. Uprising will also feature a new addition for the game's Zombies mode, a map set in Alcatraz prison named "Mob of the Dead."
Activision says "Mob of the Dead" will feature the voice acting talent of Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano and Michael Madsen. The four actors play prohibition-era mobsters attempting to break out of Alcatraz only to encounter hordes of the undead. The new Zombies level adds a new feature call "Purgatory" which sends players killed by zombies into the afterlife.

Uprising can be downloaded for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15) or as part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season pass, which retails for $49.99 or 4000 Microsoft Points. The map pack comes to Xbox 360 first, "with other platforms to follow."
