Post-it note arcade video brings Ms. Pac-Man, Mario to life

YouTube user Michael Birken spent 11 months re-creating 5,722 still images through 4,800 Post-it notes to make a stop-motion tribute to Ms. Pac-Man and NES arcade game Donkey Kong.

The video, which you can watch above, features Ms. Pac-Man and Mario adventuring on walls in everyday locations. According to Birken's YouTube post, recordings were printed out one frame at a time and posted on various spots around his office.

Stop-motion has been used before to bring life to classic franchises. YouTube user FinalCutKing used 7,000 Post-it notes to re-create Super Mario World in a minute and a half-long video.
