Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures launching for PC this year, collecting votes on Steam Greenlight

Action-adventure platformer Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures will launch for Windows PC this year and is currently collecting votes on Steam Greenlight, ScrewAttack Games announced.

The game is based off the comedic retro review series Angry Video Game Nerd, where James Rolfe doles out criticisms and sharp-tongued insults to old, sub-par games. Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures is being developed by FreakZone, the indie dev best know for creating Manos: The Hands of Fate.

Few details have been given, but according to the game's Greenlight page, it will feature 10 levels inspired by classic games such as Mega Man and Castlevania. The game will include multiple playable characters, power ups and three difficulty levels: easy, normal and "hard as balls."

You can watch the trailer above for a glimpse at the game's visual style and action.
