GungHo bringing six more Japanese PSOne imports to PSN this spring

Six more Japanese PSOne imports are coming to the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 this spring, publisher GungHo Online Entertainment America announced today on the PlayStation Blog.

Three games will be available today, while three more are coming May 7.

First up in today's slate of import titles is Evergreen Avenue, a fantasy title that mixes a visual novel with puzzle and management elements. You pick a protagonist and attempt to impress seven spirits. Evergreen Avenue was developed by Vridge and was originally released on the PlayStation in 2001.

Favorite Dear: Jyunpaku No Yogensha, another entry in the Favorite Dear series, is a hybrid role-playing game and dating simulation title, with players choosing between a male and female angel. Also being released today is Zero Kara no Mahjong: Mahjong Yochien Tamago-Gumi, a mahjong title for beginners.

On May 7, GungHo will release Motto Trump Shiyouyo, a sequel to Trump Shiyouyo that contains more minigames; Zero Kara no Shogi: Shogi Youchien Ayumi-gumi, a shogi (Japanese chess) game; and Zero Kara no Mahjong: Mahjong Youchien Tamago-gumi 2, a sequel to the mahjong title being released today.

Each game will sell for the usual PSOne Classics price of $5.99. GungHo has been bringing Japanese PSOne imports to the PS Store since December; it released another batch in March.
