Old-school classic Super Mario Bros. 2 is slated to hit Wii U Virtual Console on May 16 for $4.99, Nintendo announced in the title's Wii U launch trailer.
The trailer gives a glimpse at some of the off-TV play you can expect on the GamePad.
Super Mario Bros. 2 will join a relatively meager list of Wii U Virtual Console titles, which so far include the likes of Excitebike, Ice Climbers, Punch-Out!! and Super Mario World.
