Nintendo is accepting applications now for its eight-month student program in Japan, Nintendo Game Seminar, a Nintendo representative confirmed to Polygon.
Nintendo Game Seminar 2013 marks the return of the program, which took a break in 2011 and 2012 following the earthquake and tsunami natural disasters. The competitive program includes weekly classes and projects that students work on from home. Up to six students work on software development and are required to give a presentation of their work at the end of each term.
Applications will be accepted until June 2. Applicants must submit an entry form to be considered for followup interviews and an examination. The program is intended only for students living in areas near Osaka or Tokyo.
