Japanese game corporation Gungho Online Entertainment plans to bring upcoming social puzzle game Puzzle and Dragons Z to North America, Siliconera reports.
In an interview with Siliconera, Kazuki Morishita CEO of GungHo Online Entertainment confirmed that GungHo Online Entertainment America will publish the game in the U.S.
Puzzle and Dragons Z is an updated console version of the social puzzle/role-playing game hybrid called Puzzle and Dragons. The company announced last month that the updated version will be released later this year for Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
Polygon reported earlier today that sales of Puzzle and Dragons were $113 million in April, according to Gungho's recent financial report. The company's overall sales for the month of April were 12 billion yen ($199 million) with a year-on-year increase of 1,142.8 percent.
Puzzle and Dragons originally launched in Japan last year for iOS in February and Android in September, and was released in Europe and North America last November.
