A new trailer for Ubisoft's upcoming Rayman Legends shows the limbless hero and compatriots getting a bit wet.
Underwater levels are a time-honored tradition in platformer games, and Rayman Legends is holding to that tradition with "20,000 Lums Under the Sea." As seen in the trailer, the undersea levels have some slight stealth mechanics, in which Rayman and pals must evade enemy detection by hiding from their searchlights.
Ubisoft has also announced pre-order bonuses for Rayman fans in the UK. Gamers who preorder Rayman Legends at GAME will receive a special outfit based off one of Ubisoft's other franchises, depending on their console of choice. Wii U owners will see Barbara dressed as Aveline from Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, PlayStation 3 owners get a Rayman outfit inspired by Edward Kenway, protagonist of the upcoming Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, and Xbox 360 owners' Rayman will get a Sam Fisher getup straight out of Splinter Cell. Rayman Legends hits Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3 at the end of August.
