Nintendo demonstrated a few more of Game & Wario's minigames, including one that features some familiar faces, during a Nintendo Direct presentation today.
In Island, which supports two to five players, you'll launch creatures called Fronks onto islands for a high score. Patchwork (image above) stars the twin ninja sisters Kat and Ana from the WarioWare series. You'll have to use the GamePad's touchscreen to move overlapping puzzle pieces into place in order to complete the game.
Kung-Fu was described by a Nintendo representative as a "split-perspective auto-jump platformer." You'll have to simultaneously keep track of the TV, which shows a forward-facing view of the action, and the GamePad, which provides a top-down view of the level. The objective is to guide a character named Young Cricket safely through the areas and avoid pitfalls.
Game & Wario is already available in Japan, where it launched March 28. It will be released June 23 in North America for $39.99 and June 28 in Europe. It's a minigame collection for Wii U that doesn't have the "microgames" from the WarioWare titles. Check out our preview for details on a number of the individual games within.
