Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection sees a slight delay, launching July 9 for $49.99

The company unveiled the package last month and said at the time that it planned to launch the collection in June.
The Legacy Collection celebrates 25 years of the Metal Gear franchise. It includes five Metal Gear Solid games, plus updated versions of the MSX2 titles Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake:
- Metal Gear, 1987 (in Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition)
- Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, 1990 (in Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition)
- Metal Gear Solid, 1998
- Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, 1999
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, 2001 (in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection)
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, 2004 (in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection)
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, 2008 (Trophy Edition)
- Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, 2010 (in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection)
As you can see in the image above, the first disc is reserved for Metal Gear Solid 4, while the second disc contains all the other games. The bundle also includes a 100-page art book that covers the entire history of Metal Gear in marketing artwork, along with digital copies of two graphic novels — one for Metal Gear Solid and the other for Metal Gear Solid 2 — by Ashley Wood.
