Crab walks, thumbsticks and the future of Xbox controls

We had a chance to check out the Xbox One's new controller and the future of Kinect during today's visit to Microsoft's Redmond, Wash. campus.

The controller features 40 improvements to the Xbox 360 controller and feels like a slightly lighter, but more solid version of Microsoft's gamepad. Kinect now brings with it the ability to track heartbeats, muscular movement and even facial expressions to determine alertness and mood.

Check out our video for a quick walkthrough of what we saw and a little bit of crab walking.
