Dead or Alive 5 Ulimate, the "definitive version" of Team Ninja's 2012 fighting title, will launch in Japan on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Sept. 5, according to Famitsu as reported by Siliconera.
Famitsu also announced Dead or Alive series character Ein, a karate master with a bad case of amnesia, and Virtua Fighter's Indy car racer Jacky Bryant would also be included in Ultimate.
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will include bonus content from Dead or Alive 5 Plus, which was released on the PlayStation Vita last year. Famitsu earlier reported Ultimate would include the new stage Sky City Tokyo, set in a Japanese garde on a high-rise in the middle of the metropolis, as well as a handful of additional characters include Momiji from the Ninja Gaiden series.
Earlier this month Tecmo Koei announced Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate would be released in Japan and North America this fall.
We have reached out to publisher Tecmo Koei for confirmation as well as more details on the title's North American release, and will update this story with more information as we have it.
