Sony will release The Best of PlayStation Network Vol. 1, a bundle of four popular PlayStation Network titles, on June 25 at retail for PlayStation 3, the company announced today on the PlayStation Blog.
The collection will cost $39.99 and is the first in a series of collections that will bring the games to physical stores. These bundles are also subsequently "a great place to start" for players unfamiliar with the PSN platform, according to the post by Sony Computer Entertainment America's associate product manager David Bull.
Vol. 1 includes third-person adventure title When Vikings Attack, musical 2D platformer Sound Shapes, post-apocalyptic animal life simulator Tokyo Jungle and Fat Princess.
Bull notes the collection is available for $15 cheaper than purchasing all four games separately through the PlayStation Store.
In April, a listing for the bundle appeared on the Electronic Software Ratings Board, hinting at the collection's release and the possibility of a longer series of physical PSN game bundles.
