Riot Games released a new League of Legends cinematic, "A Twist of Fate," that pits several of the game's champions against one another in heated battle.
You can watch the video above to see champions such as Ryze, Annie, Garen and more. According to the video's accompanying post, cinematic videos allow Riot to "get up close and personal" with the game's character's without being restrained by "the frenetic, action-packed, moment-to-moment gameplay of League of Legends."
"Realizing the champions in such high fidelity challenges us in different ways, and when it all comes together the result is really powerful," the post reads.
Riot also posted a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the cinematic, which you can watch below. The team talks about the iconic moves of different champions, the difficulties of bringing the game to life in cinematics and more.
