Project X Zone Nintendo 3DS demo available now (correction)

The demo for Project X Zone, a role-playing strategy crossover game featuring characters from Namco Bandai, Sega and Capcom, is available now for Nintendo 3DS, Namco announced.

Watch Project X Zone latest trailer above, titled "A Lethal Surprise," featuring Sakura Wars, Cyberbots, Space Channel 5 and Valkyria Chronicles characters battling in the Imperial Theater stage from Sakura Wars.

Project X Zone features more than 50 characters from franchises including Street Fighter, Tales of Vesperia, Devil May Cry, .hack, God Eater and more. Players can choose two characters, known as a Pair Unit, to use throughout the game.

Project X Zone first launched in Japan on Oct. 11, 2012. The game will see a release in North America on June 25 and is currently available for pre-order for $39.99 through Amazon and GameStop.

Correction: The demo is now available from the 3DS eShop in Australia, it was announced today. Australian gamers can scan QR code below to download the demo to their 3DS device. The demo launched on the European 3DS eShop last week. We apologize for any confusion caused.
