Hellraid, Techland's first-person co-op "slasher" game, will include a Game Master system inspired by pen-and-paper role-playing games and character customization, the developer announced via press release.
Hellraid takes place after Hell's armies have invaded and taken over the world of man. The game features both a single-player campaign and co-op. In the co-op Game Master mode, players compete for awards in different challenges. According to the developer, the mode will change how players complete quests, loot and encounter enemies.
The game will also include four character classes to choose from: warrior, mage, paladin and rogue. Players will be able to customize their skills through a progression tree as well as their weapons with the game's crafting system.
Techland also released four new screenshots, which you can view below. Hellraid was announced in April of this year. The game is being developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
