Arc System Works' fighting game BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is free for PS Plus members via the PlayStation Store, according to a post on the official PlayStation blog.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend features character balance tweaks, a new character, Relius Clover and story modes for all previous three DLC characters: Platinum, Makoto, Valkenhayn. It will also include new modes and improved online multiplayer.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift initially launched in Japanese arcades in 2009 and was later released on North American PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles the following year. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend was first announced for the PlayStation Vita at E3 2011. Extend for the PS Vita currently retails for $24.99 on the PlayStation Store.
According the blog post, other PlayStation Plus discounts include 50 percent off Hamilton's Great Adventure for PlayStation 3 ($2.50), 30 percent off Draw Slasher for the PS Vita ($4.19) and 40 percent off the Germinator Bundle for PS3 and PS Vita ($5.99).
PS Plus members also get access to a timed trial of Fuse and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
