Miiverse update brings features like posting and following to browsers

An update released today for Miiverse focused on the browser-based implementation of the Wii U's social network and introduced new features like the ability to post and delete text posts, a representative for Nintendo of America confirmed to Polygon.

The update also allows Miiverse users to follow and unfollow others, display the list of who they're following, change profile settings and configure who can comment on posts through a browser. Non-members or those not signed into the service can also browse posts by loading a URL.

Miiverse made its debut on the Wii U last November and came to PC and smartphones via web browsers earlier this year. A Nintendo 3DS version is in development.
