BioWare's role-playing game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is getting an iPad port, according to a review for the version on IGN.
The game has been developed by dedicated Mac OS port developer Aspyr, and adapts the game's controls for touchscreen, according to IGN.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic launched in 2003 for Xbox and Windows PC. The title was ported to Mac the following year and was released through Steam in 2011. A sequel, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 — The Sith Lords, was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and launched in late 2004 for Xbox and early 2005 for Windows PC. The Sith Lords hit Steam last summer.
Update: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is now available for $9.99 through the iTunes App Store. According to a listing on Aspyr's page, the game is compatible with iOS 6 or newer and iPad 2 and up.
