Former Ubisoft and THQ creative director Patrice Desilet will join the line-up of speakers participating in this year's Gamelab Conference in Barcelona.
Desilets, who is best known as the team lead behind the Assassin's Creed franchise before leaving in 2010, will host a session at Gamelab where he will offer insight to his 15-year career in the games industry.
The upcoming conference will also feature talks from Gearbox creative director Paul Hellquist who will speak about the creation of powerful moments using systems of gameplay. Remedy's Matias Myllyrinne will also be involved in a keynote describing the pressures facing independent studios within a AAA development landscape.
Gamelab 2013 will run from June 26 to June 28.
