The latest Kickstarter upate for point-and-click adventure title The Realm includes a video detailing navigation, puzzles, narrative and more.
The Realm is broken into four acts and follows Sarina as she searches for a special medicinal flower to save her mother. After setting off from home, Sarina meets and befriends stone golem Toru, who assists her on her adventure.
When approaching objects, Sarina will generally have four available actions, including the ability to have Toru mimic her. When Sarina is incapable of properly performing an action — for example, shaking a tree with great force — players can instead get Toru to try it. You can watch the video above to learn how players will switch between both characters, among other things.
The Realm began its Kickstarter campaign in April; it will end May 22. At the time of this posting, the campaign has currently raised £49,530 of its £195,000 goal. The game is currently collecting votes on Steam Greenlight.
