Disunion - The guillotine simulator, an "Oculus Rift experience" that was created during the recent Exile Game Jam, recreates the decapitating experience of the French guillotine, according to Disunion's official website.
Disunion was created in two days by Erkki Trummal, André Berlemont and Morten Brunbjerg, who participated in the game jam that took place May 1-5 in Vallekilde, Denmark. Check out the video above to see how it uses the virtual reality headset, a real world object to bend over and a well-timed karate chop to recreate the symbol of the French Revolution.
Those with the Oculus Rift developers kits, which began shipping in late March, and a Windows PC can download and experience the demo here. For more on the virtual reality headset, check out Polygon's impressions of the Oculus Rift from GDC 2013.
