Rymdkapsel, a minimalist real-time strategy game from Grapefrukt Games, was released today for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Mobile devices, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog.
The game tasks players with building a space station, growing it over time and defending yourself against the enemies attracted by your size and success. The game's minimalist aesthetic applies to both the game's look and feel, according to the developer.
"A year ago, I started making a game about a space station. I wanted to make a game that had all the fun parts of an RTS but none of the fiddly, stressful bits," developer Martin Jonasson wrote. "The more I removed, the better the game became and that's how Rymdkapsel came into being."
Rymdkapsel is available for $4.99 in the PlayStation Mobile section of the PlayStation Store for Vita.
