Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures will not be impacted by EA, Disney agreement

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, Sony Online Entertainment's massively multiplayer online game, will not be affected by Electronic Arts and Disney's exclusive publishing deal, Massively reports.

Clone Wars Adventures is currently developed and published by SOE. According to a company spokesperson, Clone Wars Adventures will continue to run unhindered under its current license.

"Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures is fully armed and operational, and this week's announcement does not affect our current agreement with Lucasfilm," a spokesperson told Massively.

EA and Disney announced their exclusive, multi-year licensing agreement May 6. Under the deal, EA will publish Star Wars games developed by Visceral Games, Dice and BioWare for core gamers on "all interactive platforms." Disney's rights will allow it to create casual and social games on the web, tablets and mobile devices.
