Wii U owners will begin to receive DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us "this summer," despite its current availability on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, studio NetherRealm revealed today on the developer's official Twitter account.
So far the studio has released downloadable character Lobo to the game, and announced Batgirl as its upcoming playable fighter. Lobo became available to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users earlier in the week.
"We expect DLC for the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us to be available this summer," wrote a studio representative. "Stay tuned for more details."
The Wii U version of the game has a number of inconsistencies with its other console releases. So far, the Wii U edition features no lobbies for online play, and an inability for players to send invites to friends to fight online.
