Sunset Overdrive is an open-world shooter for Xbox One from Insomniac

Sunset Overdrive is coming to Xbox One, it was announced during today's Xbox E3 press event in Los Angeles.

The shooter is in development from Insomniac Games and will be published by Microsoft Studios. This isn't the first time we've heard of the game, however. Earlier in February it was reported Insomniac Games submitted a trademark application for the upcoming game.

Sunset Overdrive is described as an open-world shooter that offers new gaming experiences that change daily, according to the developer. A debut trailer showed a bright, cartoonish world where teams of gun-toting players blasted through neon orange mutants.
