Sony has confirmed that Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to PlayStation 4, spring 2014.
Sony added that there will be a beta for the game exclusively available first on PlayStation 4. The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online adventure set in the world of Tamriel. The PC version of the game is set for launch in 2013.
It's the first MMO based on the Elder Scrolls world, but Bethesda says the game will feel familiar to fns of the traditional RPG series. "If you played the PC version of Skyrim or Oblivion, our combat system will feel very much at home," said game director Firor at an earlier press event. "These are basic combat system decisions that came right out of other Elder Scrolls games."
Update: A press release from Bethesda has confirmed that the title will be launching on Xbox One as well, launching at the same time.
