2K Marin's Cold War-era entry into the XCOM franchise, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, will feature narrative-driven DLC following the game's Aug. 20 launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC, the developer announced today.
Xbox 360 users will receive the game's first DLC pack exclusively for the console, while those who pre-order the game will receive a bonus campaign titled "Codebreakers" which has the player track down a secret government communications facility that has gone radio-silent. Additionally, those who pre-order through GameStop will receive a Light Plasma Pistol as an exclusive in-game item.
Unlike previous XCOM games, The Bureau will have players taking on the aliens in a real-time third-person shooter, rather than in an isometric turn-based tactical game. Check out our in-depth, hands-on preview of the game here.
