Doodle Jump Kinect, the Kinect-based version of the popular mobile game, will be released June 28 on Xbox Live Arcade for 400 Microsoft Points ($5), publisher D3Publisher announced today.
Lima Sky developed the original Doodle Jump, which launched in April 2009 on iOS and in March 2010 on Android. The studio worked with Smoking Gun Interactive to bring the game to Kinect.
Instead of touch control, players move their bodies from left to right to control the Doodler, and use gestures like flapping their arms to fly. Doodle Jump Kinect offers exclusive content such as three new worlds. You can see the game in action in the video above, which includes a picture-in-picture view of the person playing the game in front of their TV along with gameplay footage.
