In a video released yesterday on the official Battlefield YouTube channel, EA Dice producer Daniel Matros walks viewers through Battlefield 4's Spectator Mode, which allows players to watch the action unfold.
Check out the video above to see pre-alpha footage of Spectator Mode, which allows viewers to switch between the first-person view of the player you're following and third-person view, which allows viewers to adjust the floating camera. Clicking on each player's name switches to that player's view, and you can also switch between "free cams" that aren't tethered to players and can be pinned around the map.
Battlefield 4 is set to launch Oct. 29 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC. For more on the game, be sure to check out our interview about multiplayer's destructible maps from E3 2013.
