Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, the deadly puzzle-adventure game from 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors developer Chunsoft, is free on PS Vita starting this week for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
The game, a spiritual sequel to the DS title 999, features a similar plotline to its predecessor: Nine strangers are forced to work together — or betray one another — as they attempt to escape a facility masterminded by a shadowy figure. By completing puzzles scattered across the facility, these strangers are able to accrue points which will grant them freedom; however, players must decide how to share that valuable currency, as there's only so much to go around.
The game will be added to PS Plus members' Instant Game Collection tomorrow, June 25, alongside several discounts for subscribers. Fat Princess will be marked down 50 percent on PS3 and PSP, costing just $3.75 for anyone with a Plus membership. Escape Plan for PS Vita will also be marked down to $3.75 for Plus owners.
On July 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be removed from the free game lineup for PS Plus members, so make sure to grab it soon if you're subscribed.
