Job listings from Dear Esther developer The Chinese Room reveals that the team is currently working on a next-gen console title.
According to both job descriptions, the studio has signed a deal with a "major publisher" and expects to release the game in summer 2015. The Chinese Room is seeking four new employees in the departments of audio design and visual FX art to work on the game.
The Audio Designer listing reveals that the game will use CryEngine 3. According to the description for the Visual FX Artist, employees will work on "an open-world, first-person" next-gen game that includes weather systems.
The Chinese Room's official website confirms that the team is currently working on a new title and promises more details "in late summer." The studio's previous games have all been released on Windows PC, Mac or Linux.
