Pikmin creator goes hands-on with Pikmin 3 in 20-minute video

Pikmin creator Shigeru Miyamoto and comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto went hands-on with the upcoming Wii U release Pikmin 3 in today's Nintendo Direct dedicated to the game.

The 20-minute video — good luck with that, non-Japanese speakers — gives a closer look at what players can expect in-game, along with a number of the Wii U system's features.

Pikmin 3 hits North American shores on Aug. 4, while the game will launch in Japan and Europe on July 13 and July 26, respectively.
