The first piece of downloadable content for BioShock Infinite is out today, bringing with it a handful of in-game items and bonuses previously available only in special editions of the game.
The Columbia's Finest add-on pack is now live on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam for $4.99 (480 Microsoft Points). The pack bundles together items from the Industrial Revolution and Upgrade packs — both from the Premium and Ultimate Songbird BioShock Infinite editions — and includes five additional lock picks, 500 Silver Eagles and six rare pieces of gear adding speed and loot bonuses to Booker DeWitt's arsenal. The DLC also unlocks access to two new weapon upgrades: Comstock's China Broom Shotgun and Comstock's Eagle Eye Sniper Rifle.
Columbia's Finest is not part of BioShock Infinite's Season Pass, which will include story-based DLC. Irrational Games' head Ken Levine tweeted earlier today that the add-on content included in the pass is still in development, but could provide no timeline for its release.
DLC Update: We are working on it- have been since the game shipped. Things are going well, but plz understand: game development takes time.
