A new trailer for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection shows off the seven games and extra content bundled in this tribute to Konami's storied stealth action series.
Boasting "a story of soldiers in the shadow of history," the trailer plays iconic scenes from the games, like Naked Snake and Ocelot's Metal Gear Solid 3 showdown and the appearance of the Cyborg Ninja in the original Metal Gear Solid.
Released to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary, Legacy Collection contains seven games, beginning with the first titles developed for the MSX, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. It also contains the full MGS quintet: Metal Gear Solid (and VR Missions) for the original PlayStation, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for the PlayStation 2, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the PlayStation 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PlayStation Portable.
In addition to the games, Legacy Collection contains two motion-comic adaptations of the Metal Gear Solid graphic novels and a 100-page booklet showcasing posters and promotional material for the various games in the franchise.
Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection hits PS3 exclusively in July.
