An update released yesterday for Miiverse doubles the size of posts and comments and adds a new filtering option, Nintendo of Europe's Martin "NintendoMarty" Born announced in a post on the Wii U's social network.
The maximum character count for posts and comments has been increased from 100 to 200, a feature that was added by "popular demand," according Born. In addition, when filtering by popular posts, users are no longer limited to "a certain timeframe" and can browse all popular posts.
Miiverse arrived on the Wii U last November, leapt to PCs and smartphones earlier this year and later received an update adding posting and following to the web-based version. Nintendo is also developing a version of the social service for Nintendo 3DS.
