The next expansion pack to Firaxis' Civilization 5 won't release until the week after next, but Brave New World already has a launch trailer.
"The dawn of a brave new world is upon us," says the narrator, a world in which creativity, culture and ideology are all intertwined. Conquest is not the only way to propagate an empire beyond its borders, as achievements like space flight make a civilization's mark in the annals of history.
Brave New World releases on Windows PC on July 9, and adds nine new civilizations to the game alongside an increased emphasis on trade and diplomacy. In the meantime, check out our feature on the expansion pack's development.
